New Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross Offers Lease Customers The Best Of Both Worlds

Due to officially launch in January the Eclipse Cross is exactly what the name suggests. A cross between an SUV and a Coupe it offers the best of both worlds. You get all the practicality of a mid-sized SUV with the style and driving dynamics of a coupe.
The interior of the Eclipse Cross emphasises this combination with a spacious cabin and cockpit-style driving position. The Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross will be powered by an all-new 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine developing 163hp and 250Nm of torque which can be paired with either a six-speed manual or an advanced new automatic transmission with Sport mode, manual override and paddle shifters. The automatic is likely to be the popular choice, designed to offer the improved running costs of a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with the smooth response of a traditional automatic. The Eclipse Cross will also be available in either two or four wheel drive versions. 
Mitsubishi's new mid-sized SUV will be available in three trim levels – Eclipse Cross 2, Eclipse Cross 3 and Eclipse Cross 4. All are extremely well specified, with even the entry-level 2 version offering features such as a touch-pad controller, Smartphone connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, rear view camera, DAB radio with six speakers, cruise control, climate control air conditioning, LED Daytime Running Lights, Bluetooth, privacy glass and heated door mirrors.
The Eclipse Cross 3 builds on the specification, adding bigger alloy wheels, a head-up display, heated front seats, keyless entry and keyless start, and an electronic handbrake on automatic versions.
The flagship Eclipse Cross 4 version takes the specification even further with leather trim, electrically-adjustable driver's seat, panoramic roof, premium sound system, and a suite of advanced driver assistance systems including LED headlamps, 360˚parking camera, and Adaptive Cruise Control on automatic models.

The First Edition is based on the Eclipse Cross 4 but is boasts exclusive extras including a premium paint finish, additional silver styling details to the front and rear, and special First Edition floor mats with red trim and unique First Edition badging. You will need to be quick though, Mitsubishi only plan to produce 250 of these special editions. 
In terms of leasing costs the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross represents excellent value. A three year lease starts from just £166 per month for the Eclipse Cross 2 model, the First Edition model can be yours from just £329 per month.
