A host of new models and features were revealed back in September at the 2018 IAA Commercial Vehicle Show held in Hannover, Germany. There’s the new 2-tonne Transit, the plug-in hybrid added to the Transit Custom line-up, and a whole range of Transit Connect vans including a brand new sport version. The range and versatility of the Ford Transit remains the target all the others are aiming for.

Don’t get your hopes up, the police aren’t actually offering free eye tests just yet. But If you were driving around the Thames Valley, Hampshire, or West Midlands in September and unwittingly attracted the attention of the police you probably had your eyesight tested.

“More comfortable than ever before”. “Superior off-road character”. “Significantly more space in the interior”. “The best aerodynamics in the segment”. “Modern luxury”. With statements like these anyone would think Mercedes is quite excited about the new GLE range. Although to be fair they probably do have a point.

It’s motor show time again and this time it’s the turn of Paris to provide the backdrop to the endless array of polished metal on display. October 4th to the 14th will see thousands wandering around the displays wondering what to drive next and if they will ever be able to afford that beautiful Ferrari. Given that this is the 2nd largest car show in Europe that’s a lot of people looking at a lot cars.
