Arval Collection Information


It is important that you ensure your vehicle is returned in line with Arval's terms and conditions to ensure there are no additional charges. For example areas to think about are any excess mileage, scheduled servicing, routine maintenance, the condition of the vehicle and also returning the vehicle with things such as spare keys etc.

Please take time to carefully read the following information about the collection of your lease vehicle.

Please note: collection can only be booked for within the last 30 days of your contract end date. If you wish to return your car with more than 30 days to run on your contract you will need to request an early termination quote.

Booking collection

To book collection, please download and complete the following Arval Collection Request form:

You will need to supply the following information:

  • The vehicle registration
  • The date of collection (Monday - Friday excluding Bank Holidays)
  • The full address the vehicle is to be collected from
  • Your name, contact number and email address
  • The vehicles fuel type, MOT expiry date (if applicable), insurance expiry date and tax expiry date

Instructions of where to send your completed vehicle return form can be found on your collection reminder email.

You will receive an email once your booking has been confirmed from a member of the Vehicle Returns Team at Arval.

Please note: the earliest collection date that you can request is 3 working days from today (working days are Monday - Friday excluding Bank Holidays). Collection dates are subject to availability and not always guaranteed so please let us know as early as possible if you have a preferred date.

If your vehicle has a private registration plate on and you would like to retain it, you must contact Arval to arrange the transfer prior to collection. The contact telephone number can be found below.

The collection process

On the day of collection, the vehicle must be available between 8:00 am - 6:00pm. The collection agent will contact you 1 hour before they arrive to collect your vehicle.

Prior to the collection, we would like to draw your attention to the fair wear and tear guides. These are provided to give you a clear indication of what damage is acceptable on returned vehicles and can be found on the Arval website below.

Important reminders:

In order for Arval to collect your vehicle, it must be legal, roadworthy and MOT'd (if required), and with all tyres meeting the legal requirement. Please ensure these are checked prior to your collection.

To avoid incurring additional charges, please ensure that the following items are in the vehicle when you hand it over to the inspector:

  • Locking wheel nuts
  • Service book
  • Spare key(s)
  • User manual
  • Headrests
  • Satellite navigation disc (if applicable)

The vehicle must also be fully insured until it has been collected by the Arval collection agent.
