More reasons to choose the all-new BMW 3 Series

General Guides  New Launches

For more than 45 years, the 3 Series has been the core of the BMW brand. In excess of 16 million have been sold since the original model appeared in 1975. In 2021 the 3 Series was the market leader in its class in the UK, Germany, and China. So of course, leasing yourself a brand-new BMW 3 Series makes perfect sense.

The latest BMW 3 Series features plenty of reasons why.

New styling with a revised grille and slimmer headlights adds to the sporty appearance of the new BMW 3 Series. The standard full-LED headlights are now much slimmer, with clear contours and daytime driving lights arranged in an inverted L shape. Adaptive LED Headlights are also available as an option.

Standard specification now includes 17-inch alloy wheels, with M Sport models offering 18-inch wheels and 19-inches on range-topping M variants. The range of exterior colours has also been expanded to increase the choice to around 150 paint finishes. The new BMW 3 Series will be offered in a choice of Sport and M Sport specification in the UK – as well as the aforementioned M variants.

A newly designed cockpit with BMW Curved Display and the latest-generation BMW Operating System 8 adds the modernity and digitalisation to the interior.

The comprehensive update the interior has received includes a 12.3-inch information display behind the steering wheel and a 14.9-inch control display merged into a single digital unit. The control panel on the centre console has additional touch-controlled surfaces, with the Start/Stop button, iDrive Controller, Driving Experience Control buttons, parking brake and other vehicle functions.

Every new BMW 3 Series will now come as standard with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission with gearshift paddles on the steering wheel and a newly designed selector lever. You will also have a choice of four petrol engines, including one plug-in hybrid variant, and two diesel engines, both with mild-hybrid technology. At the top of each model line-up (saloon and estate versions) sits a pair of proper BMW Performance models from BMW's M division.

That means you can specify your new BMW 3 Series with anything from 184bhp to 374bhp depending on how quickly you wish to arrive at your destination. BMW's xDrive all-wheel drive system also comes as standard on the range-topping models and is an option on selected variants. The new sports transmission also boasts a launch Control function, and ultra-quick bursts of mid-range power via its sprint function.

Production of the new 3 Series models doesn't actually begin until July, but in anticipation of the inevitable demand BMW has already opened the order books. Which means the timing is perfect to give us a call so we can arrange to get your lease arranged and behind the wheel of your brand-new BMW 3 Series.
