The All-New Land Rover Discovery Unveiled
The eagerly anticipated Land Rover Discovery has been unveiled and it's bigger and better than ever!
The all-new 2017 model is lighter, faster and more economical compared to it's successful predecessor and we believe it's going to be as popular choice amongst our customers.
This new model, combines many of the design and styling features such as sleek lines as seen on the likes of the Discovery Sport, Evoque and Range Rover but has dropped the boxy toughness of the previous model.
The new fifth-generation Discovery is longer - with an extra 38mm on the wheelbase and has saved 350kg thanks to its body-on-frame architecture. It is also more aerodynamic because of its new smoother exterior shell.
On the inside, there are three rows of folding seats that are electrically powered. The folding seats can be operated from inside the vehicle or remotely via your smart phone. The lowered floor also provides extra headroom to the rear seats. There is a total of 2,046 litres of space when all seats are folded away.
Some of the latest technology will feature in the new model with the likes of nine USB ports, WIFI hotspot for up to eight devices and all seats being individually heated. Unlike other 4x4's the vehicle can be lowered by up to 50mm to help passengers in and out.
