Electric brand extends offering with new SUV model and 379 mile range

Here's a new electric car to put on your fleet choice lists: the Polestar 3.

Sharing the same new platform as the Volvo XC90, its sister firm, the Polestar 3 features a large 111kWh battery capable of delivering 379 miles on a charge.

Dual motors offer four-wheel drive security and a punchy 517hp with the Performance Pack, offering a 0-62mph time of 4.6 seconds.

The non-Performance Pack version doesn't lose out much, though, with 489hp and a 0-62mph time of 4.9 seconds.

Charging is possible at up to 250 kW DC thanks to the new platform. This means that a 10-80% charge is possible in just 30 minutes on the fastest charge points, replenishing the battery with more than 260 miles of range.

Inside the cabin, sustainability is a key attribute with recycled plastics and sustainably sourced materials. These include bio-attributed microtech animal welfare-certified leather and fully traceable wool upholsteries.

The new Polestar 3 is available to lease now, although delivery will not be until the second half of 2023.

Business drivers can expect to pay benefit in kind taxation from just £53 a month at the 40% rate for the new Polestar 3 on business contract hire.
