Seven of the best seven seaters to lease

Seven of the best seven seaters to lease

Published 19th February 2026

Forget the 4x4, how about a 7x7 instead? OK, so maybe that’s a bit misleading if you’re imagining some seven-wheeled beast. We’re actually talking about the perennial popularity of the seven-seater. Whether it’s an SUV or an MPV, a seven-seater is an essential part of life for many people, especially those with larger families.

With a wider variety than ever to choose from, we’ve looked at some of the best seven-seater cars available to lease in the UK right now. And because they’ve all got seven seats, we picked seven of the best to share with you, which should explain our opening line…

Seven seaters are an incredibly versatile option

They’re stylish, practical, and because most of them are based on conventional car platforms, even the largest examples are surprisingly easy to drive. If you have a big family, or a large collection of friends, you can transport more of them at a time in comfort. You’ve got the flexibility of being able to swap seating for luggage space with little more than a fold and a slide of the rear seats. And you’re not going to be short on the latest technology either.

The best seven-seater car for you will depend on how regularly you plan on using the third row of seating and who will be sitting there.

If you’re sitting adults back there, you'll be looking for something with a bit more space for heads and legs. If it’s just for occasional use, or you only need to squeeze in a few small children, you might prefer one of the more compact seven-seat models.

So, if you’re in need of something to carry a couple of extra passengers, you’re likely to find it here.

best 7 seaters to lease - Dacia Jogger

Dacia Jogger

The Dacia Jogger is without doubt the most affordable seven-seater car on the market, and that's a good reason to lease one all by itself.

It’s stylish enough to suit most tastes, the sturdy interior offers plenty of space, and it’s well equipped enough to tick most boxes. There’s an eight-inch touchscreen, a rear-view camera, LED headlights, and manual air conditioning across the range, while higher trims add things like keyless entry, heated front seats, and wireless phone charger.

Two engine options - a turbocharged 1.0-litre and a 1.6-litre hybrid - help keep running costs down, delivering nearly 50mpg in the turbo model and close to 60mpg from the hybrid. 0-62mph times in the 10-11 second range are largely irrelevant because you pick one for the space and practicality, not to go drag racing. The Kia EV9 is also very well-equipped. The entry-level ‘Air’ trim gets Kia’s Level 2 driving assistance, heated and ventilated front and second-row seats, an electric boot lid, a triple-screen layout including a pair of 12.3-inch screens, a wireless smartphone charger, and 19-inch alloys. Following the retirement of the W12 engine, the lineup now focuses on Bentley’s electrified powertrains. You can either have the hybrid 4.0-litre Twin-Turbo V8 Petrol that gives you almost 550bhp and 0-60 mph in around 4.4 seconds.
