Lepas L6 EV arrives with 279-mile range and great spec

Lepas has confirmed the full UK specification for its all new L6 EV, the brand’s first fully electric SUV and the second model to join its growing UK line up after the L8 PHEV. Designed around modern urban life, the L6 EV aims to blend elegant styling with strong electric range, generous equipment levels and a cabin focused on simplicity and space.

The Lepas L6 EV sits in the C segment SUV class, measuring 4,570mm long and 1,852mm wide, with a 2,700mm wheelbase that helps maximise interior space. Lepas says its “Leopard Aesthetics” design philosophy inspired the exterior, with flowing lines, wide body proportions and distinctive ‘Hunting Eye’ LED headlights.

Both trim levels — Essence and Elevate — come with 19-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, LED lighting throughout, privacy glass and heated, power folding door mirrors. Drivers can choose from six exterior colours, including the eye-catching vibrant Solar Orange or Supernova Purple.

Under the skin, both versions use a 65kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery paired with a 160kW (approx. 215bhp) front mounted electric motor. The setup delivers 0–62mph in 7.9 seconds, a top speed of 111mph and a battery range of up to 279 miles, making it suitable for both daily commuting and longer weekend trips.

Top up the Lepas battery quickly

Charging performance is competitive too. The L6 EV supports 120kW DC fast charging, allowing a 30-80%top up in around 22 minutes. The new LEX Platform underpinning the car also features a 12 in 1 electric drive system, electric power steering and Bosch IBP 2.0 braking technology designed to improve pedal feel, energy recovery and overall stability.

Inside, the L6 EV focuses on calm, uncluttered design, with a wrap-around cockpit placing the driver at the centre, while a large 13.2-inch waterfall style touchscreen handles most vehicle functions. A further 8.88-inch digital driver display sits ahead of the steering wheel, and a panoramic sunroof brings natural light into the cabin.

Thanks to the flat floor rear layout, passengers benefit from improved legroom, while the boot offers 410 litres of space, expanding to 1,334 litres with the seats folded. A further 99 litres of underfloor storage provides room for charging cables and smaller items.

What about the Lepas L6 specifications?

The entry level Essence trim is already well equipped to begin with, featuring Basalt Black fabric upholstery, manually adjustable front seats, dual zone climate control, heated steering wheel, heated windscreen, keyless entry, rear air vents and 40/60 split folding rear seats.

Technology highlights include the Qualcomm 8155 processor, AI powered voice assistant, 50W wireless phone charging with active cooling, multiple USB ports and a six-speaker audio system.

Safety is also a major focus, with 22 ADAS functions fitted as standard — including Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keep Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Traffic Jam Assist and a 540° panoramic camera system.

The Elevate trim adds a more premium feel, upgrading to full leather-effect upholstery, six-way power adjustable front seats with four-way lumbar support for the driver, and heated and ventilated front seats.

Additional features include a power tailgate, Nano Aqua Ion Air Purification System, 256 colour ambient lighting and a Sony eight speaker premium audio system. Elevate also gains Advanced Parking Assist and Remote Parking Assist, making tight urban manoeuvres easier.

Every L6 EV also comes with a 7-year/100,000-mile vehicle warranty, an 8-year/100,000-mile battery warranty, and extensive corrosion and paint guarantees. Over the air updates ensure the car’s software and features can evolve over time, while RAC Roadside Assistance is included for up to seven years when serviced through the authorised network.
