Gateway2Lease sponsors the 2026 Bromsgrove Blood Cancer UK Run

Gateway2Lease is proud to be sponsoring this year’s Bromsgrove Blood Cancer UK Run, taking place this Sunday 10th May at Bromsgrove Rugby Club. The much-loved community event features both 5K and 10K distances and raises vital funds for Blood Cancer UK, supporting life-saving research and helping families affected by leukaemia, lymphoma, and myeloma.

This event has deep local roots.

It was first organised in 1989 by Nicole Harris, Chair of the Bromsgrove & District Branch, in memory of her nine-year-old son Marc, who tragically died from leukaemia. Since then, the branch has raised well over £1 million for the charity, with the annual fun run remaining its biggest and most meaningful fundraiser.

We’re expecting a number of the Gateway2Lease team to take part on Sunday, with final numbers confirmed on the day, and we’re proud to be supporting both the event and the incredible work Blood Cancer UK continues to do.

It’s probably too late for you to register for this year’s event, but you could still go along on Sunday to check out the stalls, enjoy a drink and a bite to eat, and cheer on the runners who are raising money for a very important cause.
