New Daily conversions offer Driveaway tipper models

Five new models have joined the Iveco Daily Driveaway range, providing ready-bodied conversions based on Iveco's Daily large van range. Two are based on the Daily 3,500kg gross vehicle weight (GVW) chassis and three on the heavier 7,200kg GVW models.

The 3,500kg GVW models feature a caged tipper body and an arboricultural tipper. The conversions are aimed at the municipal, landscape maintenance and forestry sectors. Both models feature Iveco's Daily Construction Pack, including tyre pressure monitoring, sump guard, cross-axle differential lock, elliptical rear springs and towing electrics. Body equipment includes a fitted toolbox, side access door, remote control tipping gear and rear barn doors with a tailgate. Power comes from a 2.3-litre 136hp diesel and a six-speed manual gearbox is standard equipment.

The arboricultural tipper also includes a toolbox and remote-control tipping gear as well as a hinged aluminium chip hood, ladder rack, rear barn doors, pull-out rear step, LED hazard beacon and tow hitch. This model is powered by a 3.0-litre 160hp diesel engine.





The three 7,200kg GVW models include dropside, tipper and scaffolding dropside conversions and all are powered by a 180hp version of the 3.0-litre diesel. Dropside and scaffolding dropside models are both equipped with Iveco's Hi-Matic eight-speed transmission. Towing electrics and ladder racks are included as standard. Six pairs of scaffold sockets are included with the scaffolding dropside model.

The 7,200kg GVW tipper model comes with the Construction Pack as standard, as well as rope hooks, dropsides with removable centre pillars and graphene infused paint. In-cab tipping controls are also included.

All five new conversions are based on the Daily Business trim level. Features include cruise control, manual air-conditioning, electric door mirrors and front fog lights.
