MINI's go-anywhere blaster

New Launches

If you've ever had a chance to drive a John Cooper Works MINI you know what a bundle of absolute fun the car is.

Now the JCW boys have given the most potent engine they've produced to the all-wheel drive Countryman SUV - so you can have a blast wherever you go!

Under the bonnet is 2.0 litre MINI TwinPower Turbo tech and an independent cooling system, which produces a handy 306hp and plenty of torque at 450Nm.

Helping keep all of that power under control is intelligently controlled all-wheel drive and a differential lock on the front wheels integrated with the 8-speed Steptronic transmission. It helps ensure things don't get too unruly.

MINI says you can accelerate this sports SUV to 62mph in just 5.1 seconds, accompanied by the unmistakable sound of the thrill-a-minute sport exhaust system.

The chassis has also been tweaked with some suspension and damping mods, Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) and electromechanical steering. If you want, you can also add the optional adaptive chassis to the set up.

Standard equipment includes a sports brake system with 4-piston fixed caliper disc brakes on the front wheels, single-piston floating-caliper disc brakes on the rear wheels and 18-inch John Cooper Works light-alloy wheels with brake callipers painted in Chili Red.

It all adds up to a real MINI master blaster - anywhere you wish.
