General Guides  New Launches

If you're thinking of leasing a new Vauxhall you've picked the perfect time. And that applies regardless of what you're actually looking to lease. If you're looking for a new car, Vauxhall has added new Griffin Edition models to its Corsa, Astra and Grandland X vehicle range. If you're in need of a new van, Vauxhall has added new Griffin Edition models to its Combo, Vivaro and Movano vehicle range.

Last year, Vauxhall launched a new Griffin logo featuring a simple and elegant 2-D design of its iconic Griffin. The new badges can be found across all new Vauxhall models, with the Corsa Griffin Edition, Astra Griffin Edition and the Grandland X Griffin editions sporting the new logo front and rear. The newly badged vehicles also come with newly updated specifications so have a quick look before you decide which one to choose.

Corsa Griffin Edition

Standard exterior trim on the new Corsa Griffin Edition includes 17-inch bi-colour alloy wheels, a black roof and spoiler, LED headlights and daytime running lights as well as automatic lights and windscreen wipers. Inside, the Corsa Griffin Edition features heated seats and steering wheel, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as well as a 7-inch digital instrument panel and Griffin branded floor mats.

There's a good choice of efficient petrol and diesel versions. Petrol variants are available with Vauxhall's 1.2-litre (75PS) mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, and 1.2-litre Turbo (100PS) engines. The turbo variants feature a choice of either a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic gearbox. The diesel option features Vauxhall's 1.5-litre Turbo D (102PS) engine connected to a six-speed manual.

Astra Griffin Edition

With a range of visual upgrades and improved specification, the new Astra Griffin Edition makes one of Britain's favourite cars even more appealing. The Astra Griffin Edition features 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels, a contrasting gloss black finish for the roof and door mirrors, plus dark tinted rear windows with chrome surrounds. Standard equipment includes Griffin branded floor mats, Vauxhall's Multimedia Satellite Navigation System with a 7-inch colour touchscreen, dual zone climate control, heated steering wheel and front seats.

All models come with front and rear parking sensors and a Driving Assistance Pack that includes forward collision alert, lane keep assist and automatic emergency braking.

You've got the option of the versatile five-door hatchback or spacious Sports Tourer estate body, alongside a choice of efficient engines. Petrol models use a turbocharged 1.2-litre engine (145PS), fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard. The 1.5-litre diesel (122PS) features a six-speed manual gearbox as standard or an optional nine-speed automatic transmission.

Grandland X Griffin Edition

Like the Astra Griffin Edition, the new Grandland X Griffin Edition comes with 18-inch diamond cut alloy wheels and gloss black paint on the roof and door mirrors, while the rear windows get dark tinted glass. Silver-effect roof rails, chrome window surrounds and a powered tailgate complete the exterior upgrades. Interior equipment includes a Multimedia Navi Pro infotainment system with an 8-inch touchscreen and satellite navigation system, plus keyless entry and start, dual zone climate control and Griffin embossed floor mats.

Like the Astra, there's a choice of two engines - Vauxhall's turbocharged 1.2-litre petrol (130PS) or a turbocharged 1.5-litre diesel (130PS). Both are fitted with a six-speed manual gearbox as standard, with an eight-speed automatic transmission available as an option.

Or if you're in the market for that shiny new van…

Combo Griffin Edition

The Combo Griffin Edition features 16-inch alloy wheels, metallic paint and rear parking sensors. Inside, you'll get Vauxhall's Multimedia system with an 8-inch touchscreen, cruise control, and Vauxhall's FlexCargo for improved practicality. This allows drivers to load through the bulkhead, as well as fold the passenger and centre seat to improve load space.

The Combo Griffin Edition is exclusively available in standard wheelbase L1H1 body style and with a 1.5-litre Turbo D diesel engine. It's frugal to run too, achieving 53.3mpg and 140g/km, under WLTP testing.

Vivaro Griffin Edition

The Vivaro Griffin Edition features rear parking sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, high-beam assist, as well as automatic windscreen wipers and body-coloured bumpers. Inside, the Vivaro Griffin Edition is fitted with Vauxhall's Multimedia system with a 7-inch touchscreen, cruise control, and FlexCargo system.

The Vivaro Griffin Edition is available in standard wheelbase L1H1 body style with a 1.5-litre 120PS Turbo D diesel engine, or a long wheelbase L2H1 variant with the same power unit. It achieves up to 39.8mpg and emits 159g/km CO2.

Movano Griffin Edition

The large Movano Griffin Edition comes with rear parking sensors, cruise control, automatic windscreen wipers and automatic headlights. Drivers also get a digital radio with Bluetooth and a USB connection, as well as comfort seats with lumbar support and armrest.

The Movano Griffin Edition is available in medium wheelbase L2H2 and long wheelbase L3H2 body styles, with both models featuring a powerful and efficient 2.3-litre (135PS) Turbo D diesel engine. Movano Griffin Editions achieve up to 30.4mpg.
