General Guides  New Launches

Now available with a driving range of 162 miles, the new Mercedes-Benz pure-electric LCV is now capable of rapid charging at up to 80 kW DC, offering significant improvements in operability for many business users and exemption from congestion charge and clean air zones.

Topping up the new 66 kWh battery will take around half an hour for a charge to 80%, adding more than 100 miles of range in that time. Charging at home or the workplace is possible at up to 11 kW AC, which will see a full charge from empty take less than seven hours.

As well as a larger capacity battery for the extended range, and faster charging capabilities to reduce recharging times, the new eVito is available in an additional trim level - Premium. Coming in above the previously available Progressive specification, Premium adds features such as metallic paint and colour-coded bumpers, 17-inch alloys, leather-covered steering wheel, parking sensors, front fog lights, and lumbar support for the driver's seat.

Fitted as standard to all trim levels of the eVito are a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone integration, and connected vehicle features such as pre-conditioning of the cabin's temperature, and app control for charging management.

All new models come with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty, and the drive battery sees this extended to eight years or 99,419 miles (160,000km).

Power comes from an 87 kW electric motor, with up to 360 Nm of torque. The payload is 807kg and load area of 6.6m3.

Deliveries are expected from March. Contact Gateway2Lease to enquire about leasing costs.
