Dacia cuts fleet costs with new Spring Cargo electric van

Dacia cuts fleet costs with new Spring Cargo electric van

Published 6th December 2024

Dacia is claiming the running costs crown for van operators with its new Spring Cargo electric van.

It comes with a low price, reduced further by the UK Plug-In Van Grant, which will help to ensure minimal leasing rates.

In addition, diesel costs are eliminated in favour of electric energy. Around town, the Spring Cargo’s 26.8 kWh battery can achieve up to 186 miles, according to official figures; the cost of electricity to cover that distance would be less than one-third of an equivalent diesel.

This is backed by useful load-lugging capacity, with a payload of 370kgs and boot volume of 1,085 litres.

Practicality is also key. The rear seats of the hatchback model have been removed to provide a flat load bay, separated from the driver by a mesh bulkhead..

The load space can be accessed via the rear doors or tailgate..

Any 240V accessories can be powered at work through Vehicle to Load capability..

Standard specification includes white paint, a 10-inch display, Bluetooth, a USB port, cruise control, manual air conditioning, electric front windows, remote central locking, front and rear parking sensors, and a reversing camera. .

The All-New Dacia Spring Cargo is available to order and lease from Gateway2Lease now.
