Renault reveals new range of all-electric vans
Published 4th March 2025
Renault is raiding its past expertise in commercial vehicles with the names of some of its iconic vans.
There are three new vans catering for the range of requirements for business users and all will be on sale by 2026. Building on a new “skateboard” platform and software defined vehicle architecture, the new range of vans offer flexibility, ergonomics and connectivity, with a wide variety of customisation possibilities and reduced running costs.

The first is the Renault Trafic
Now here is a name that is instantly recognisable, but it has been transformed into a really stylish one-box van. The new Renault Trafic E-Tech is the fourth generation in the series. It has a short front overhang and extended wheelbase, with maximise interior space and, says Renault, the turning circle equivalent to that of a Renault Clio.
It is less than 1.90m tall for easy access to underground car parks.

The Goelette E-Tech revives a nameplate from the fifties
The Goelette if you are unfamiliar with it was an historic Renault LCV which toughed it out on the streets for 10 years from 1956 and was most popular as a van for fleets or small business owners.
Designed to meet a wide range of needs, Goelette E-Tech electric is available in three versions: chassis cab, box, and tipper, allowing a wide choice of conversions.
Renault says to assist conversions, the rear section has no specific equipment. It has been designed for a wide range of fittings and customised features, with structural parts able to accommodate a box or other configurations tailored to specific user requirements.

Say hello to the Estafette E-Tech
The final van in the exciting new range of Renault vans is the Estafette E-Tech designed for urban work.
Estafette E-Tech electric is a contemporary reboot of Renault's iconic 1960s van, but suited to the very modern demands of urban operation.
At just 5.27m long and 1.92m wide, it is a compact commercial, making it easy to handle in the city. Standing 2.60m tall, it allows a person up to 1.90m tall to move around the interior easily, between the cockpit and cargo area.
Like Trafic E-Tech electric, Renault says the Estafette is exceptionally easy to handle, allowing it to navigate narrow streets and the confines of congested urban areas.
All three vans will be built at Renault’s Sandouville plant in France. We’ll update you with more news on these exciting new vans as we get them. Until then, the current range of Renault vans is available to lease from us.
