Fleets rate Toyota as most reliable manufacturer

In the 2023 Fleet News FN50 Awards, Toyota has been given the title of Most Reliable Car Brand, following five years of climbing the rankings. The awards recognise the thoughts of FN50 contributors, with fleets asked to rate manufacturers’ reliability over the past 12 months.

This is primarily based on the number of days vehicles are off the road with unplanned mechanical problems over the course of the year, with Toyota’s range of vehicles proving some of the most reliable with the UK’s leading vehicle leasing companies.

With warranties of 10 years/100,000 miles available across all cars and LCVs - new and used - Toyota’s billing as the most reliable brand is backed up should something go wrong with their vehicles. The hybrid systems built into much of the range prove popular with fleet managers too.
