Gateway2Lease to strengthen leadership team to support next phase of growth

Vehicle leasing broker Gateway2Lease has signalled the next phase of its development, with plans to recruit a new sales director to its leadership team.
The appointment forms part of the company’s strategic focus on growth and people investment. Alongside the sales director role, the broker plans to add three team members this quarter across its sales, digital marketing and credit functions to support rising demand for its services.
The West Midlands-based business reported strong performance throughout 2025, followed by an exceptional start to 2026, with January sales up 36% year-on-year across all channels. Its substantial sales last year were recognised this month by the Broker News BN25, which lists the highest-volume UK leasing brokers - Gateway2Lease was ranked in fifth position, having sold 6,603 vehicles into the automotive sector in 2025.
Kelly Marshall, Managing Director of Gateway2Lease, commented:
“We’ve seen particularly strong growth over the past 12 months, which has continued into 2026. Our priority is to ensure the business has the right team in place to build on that momentum. Key to that momentum is a sales director who can enable the next stage of our growth.”
In parallel with its focus on people, Gateway2Lease is continuing to invest in technology to enhance the customer journey and improve operational efficiency.
The latest hires will build on a number of recent appointments, including Chris Mobley as Head of Sales Operations, responsible for driving salary sacrifice volumes with partner The Electric Car Scheme, and Matthew Di Cello as Procurement Manager.
