Mercedes-Benz Vans launches UK-exclusive Vito Sport-X
Published 25th September 2026
Mercedes-Benz Vans has unveiled the Vito Sport-X, a UK-exclusive trim created to mark 130 years of three-pointed star commercial vehicles. Bringing motorsport-inspired styling, upgraded interior materials and additional standard equipment to the Vito Crew van range, the Sport-X sits at the top of the line-up and is based on the existing Vito Select specification.
Arriving in September and priced from £56,995 (ex VAT), the Vito Sport-X offers another highly desirable option to choose from when it comes to leasing your next van.
Power comes from Mercedes-Benz’s 2.0-litre diesel engine, producing 440Nm of torque and paired with the 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The Sport-X accelerates from 0–62mph in 10 seconds, offering strong performance for a five-seat crew van. Fuel economy is quoted at up to 38.7mpg, with CO₂ emissions of 192–193g/km.
The exterior receives a comprehensive redesign, including a bespoke front bumper with integrated splitter, a new grille, side skirts, gloss black detailing, roof rails, Sport-X badging and motorsport-style stripes across the bonnet and sides. A body-coloured rear spoiler completes the look, while 19-inch diamond-cut black alloy wheels give the van a more aggressive stance. Alpine Grey is the standard paint finish, with Arctic White and six metallic colours all available at no extra cost.
Inside, the Sport-X moves away from the standard three-seat bench and introduces individual sport seats with integrated headrests, redesigned bolsters and debossed Sport-X branding.

Upholstery combines black eco-leather and dark grey suede with orange contrast stitching, creating a motorsport-inspired cabin. Heated front seats, a heated steering wheel, wireless phone charging and a centre console with storage are all included as standard. The cabin also features branded floor mats and additional panelling around the C- and D-pillars.
The Sport-X also boasts an impressive equipment list, meaning drivers benefit from Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, air conditioning, enhanced ambient lighting, a parking package with reversing camera, chrome interior appointments and a comprehensive suite of driver-assistance systems. These include Active Brake Assist, Blind Spot Assist, Attention Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist and Intelligent Speed Assistant. Security upgrades include double-locking, the Anti-Theft Protection Package with alarm, interior monitoring, tow-away protection and digital tracking.
Available in L2 and L3 body lengths, the Vito Sport-X offers payloads of 556kg (L2) and 733kg (L3), with load volumes of 3.6m³ and 4.1m³ respectively. It seats four passengers plus the driver, and the removable rear bench allows additional cargo space when required. Towing capacity is 2,000kg, with an optional upgrade to 2,500kg.
Every Sport-X includes Mercedes-Benz’s Service:24 support package, a three-year unlimited-mileage warranty, and MobiloVan roadside assistance, which can be renewed annually for up to 30 years when serviced within the Mercedes-Benz Vans network. MobiloVan covers breakdowns, minor mishaps, and workshop visits for warranty repairs lasting more than two hours.
The Mercedes-Benz Vito Sport-X will be available to order from September 2026, offering UK drivers a distinctive, high-specification crew van with motorsport-inspired styling and strong everyday capability.
