New OMODA 7 Noble Tech aimed squarely at tech-hungry SUV drivers

New OMODA 7 Noble Tech aimed squarely at tech-hungry SUV drivers

Published 12th June 2026

Omoda has added a new top-spec trim to the Omoda 7 line-up, and it’s one aimed squarely at drivers who love their gadgets. The new Noble Tech grade sits just above the existing Noble trim and introduces two new headline features. It’s the first time Omoda has offered either of these features in the UK, and both arrive as part of a package designed to push the brand further into the premium EV market.

The new Noble Tech model officially enters the lineup from June and builds on the already generous Noble specification. Omoda’s “Everything is Essential” philosophy still applies, but with a clear emphasis on making your daily drive easier and more entertaining.

Underneath, the Noble Tech variant runs on Omoda’s SHS-P plug-in hybrid powertrain, combining a 1.5-litre turbocharged engine with an 18.3kWh battery. Total output is around 200bhp, giving a 0–62 mph time of 8.4 seconds.

More importantly, the hybrid system also delivers up to 56 miles of pure electric driving and a total range of over 700 miles, making it a strong option for drivers who want EV capability without committing to full electric. CO₂ emissions are just 23 g/km, which should appeal to company-car drivers as well as private buyers looking for low running costs.

Based on the existing Noble trim, the new range-topping Noble Tech boasts an even longer list of equipment.

There’s a 12-speaker Sony audio system, heated and ventilated front seats, six-way electric adjustment for both front seats, a 1.45-metre panoramic sunroof, 20-inch alloy wheels, and an integrated air-fragrance system with three signature scents. It’s a cabin that feels modern, well-equipped, and designed with comfort in mind. In other words, it’s ideal for families and long-distance drivers alike.

The big talking points are the two new headline features though.

Remote Parking Assistance (RPA) allows the driver to stand outside the vehicle and guide the Omoda 7 into or out of tight spaces using just the car’s key. It’s designed for those awkward multi-storey bays, narrow driveways, or any other situation you can envisage where opening the doors once parked would be a bit of a squeeze.

The system supports parallel, perpendicular, and angled spaces, and moves the car with slow, precise control. It’s a genuinely useful feature, especially for urban drivers or anyone who regularly finds themselves in a tight spot – parking-wise, at least.

The second new feature is a sliding screen that creates a more immersive cabin experience.

The Noble Tech’s infotainment system introduces a 15.6-inch ultra-thin screen that can slide across from its usual location in the centre of the dashboard to sit directly in front of the passenger. With a crisp 2.5K resolution, it allows the passenger to take charge of music, climate, and navigation, placing the screen directly in front of them for convenient access and out of the driver’s eyeline. It’s a clever touch that adds a sense of theatre to the cabin and gives the Omoda 7 Noble Tech a genuinely distinctive interior feature.

The Omoda 7 line-up now spans petrol, hybrid and plug-in hybrid options, giving you plenty of lease choices. The Noble Tech is a smart addition to that lineup, offering meaningful upgrades that enhance both convenience and cabin experience, and without compromising on affordability.

Remote Parking Assistance will appeal to anyone who regularly deals with tight spaces, while the sliding screen adds a touch of premium flair that sets the Omoda 7 apart from more traditional rivals.

For drivers who want a family SUV packed with modern tech, and a few new features you won’t find elsewhere in its price bracket, the Omoda 7 Noble Tech is well worth a look.
